Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Industrial Automation, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to advise our customers on setting up, improving, and maintaining their technical process and production control installations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Systematically analyzing complex problems and formulating conceptual solutions.
Maintaining and developing your own network of relationships, combining technical expertise with a commercial mindset.
Keeping abreast of current technological developments in the field.
Defining individual project phases - preliminary study, specification, design, implementation, and aftercare.
Designing and implementing control solutions.
Drafting functional and technical specifications and creating technical designs.
Engaging in structured design and programming.
Developing test specifications and validating designs.
Coordinating the exchange of technical information among project team members, customers, and suppliers.
Qualifications
You have completed a higher vocational or university education in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Technical Informatics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. Additionally, you have:

Over 10 years of experience in independently managing automation projects in industrial processes or infrastructure, particularly for end users in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, oil & gas extraction, water treatment, and machinery/equipment construction.
In-depth knowledge of measurement, regulation, and control technology.
Experience in designing and programming DCS and/or PLC/SCADA systems.
Extensive knowledge of modeling, design, and programming techniques.
Familiarity with database technology and process/production information systems.
