Head of HR-IT Specialist Applications

Your Role:

As the Head of HR-IT Specialist Applications, you will be responsible for the technical, organizational, and personnel management of city-wide human resources information technology (HR-IT) systems. You will lead a team of over 20 professionals, overseeing departments such as SAP SF specialist solution responsibility, HR-IT training, HR-IT services | support, and HR-IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development of the city's HR-IT strategy and oversee the implementation of HR-IT initiatives.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure the technical operations and strategic direction of city-wide HR-IT systems, including SAP HCM instruments and SAP SF.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating with organizations, IT departments, partner companies, and service departments.
  • Team Leadership: Chair or participate in specialist and management meetings, representing the central HR-IT interests at appropriate levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and project management experience in a large organization, preferably in a politically influenced environment.
  • A master's degree in business administration, organizational science, or business informatics.
  • Deep understanding of HR-IT architecture and processes, particularly within an SAP environment.
  • Strategic and conceptual knowledge and experience of HR-IT systems, including SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors, along with HR-IT project experience are a must.
  • Fluency in both English and German are a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop, represent, and implement effective solutions in a collaborative team environment.
