Our client is seeking an experience Technical Superintendent to join their team!
This role will give you the opportunity to travel a lot internationally.

The mission:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their vessels.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and budgets for assigned vessels.
- Oversee drydocking's, repairs, and modifications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Working from home mainly, but you will be tasked with following the assigned fleet and travelling to visit the vessel for repair and DD at Company requirement.
- Manage relationships with shipyards, classification societies, and other technical service providers.
- Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for improvement in vessel efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management.

Your profile:
- Experience as a Chief Engineer at sea, preferably on dry bulk cargo ships.
- Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of classification society rules and regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally as required.
