Activities & Responsibilities:

• Unleash your creativity and technical prowess as you support the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions. Be at the forefront of innovation in planning, conceptualizing, and implementing security measures in the dynamic network environment.

• Take charge of verifying OT security requirements for OT components, ensuring that our systems meet the highest security standards. Your meticulous attention to detail will play a crucial role in safeguarding our networks.

• Dive deep into security incidents and analyze them to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats. As the guardian of our network, you will monitor and audit firewall, VPN, and network devices (both physical and virtual) to ensure their optimal performance.

• Harness the power of automation to enhance security measures in the OT environment. Your expertise in streamlining processes will drive efficiency and strengthen our defenses against cyber attacks.

• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding and supporting various departments in implementing security policies, best practices, and hardening measures. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping a secure and resilient network infrastructure. Additionally, you will provide 2nd/3rd level support in the network and firewall domain.

Experience & Additional Qualifications:

• Joining our team requires a successful completion of (university) studies with a strong information technology background or a completed IT training as a computer scientist. Your educational foundation will set the stage for your journey as an OT Security Consultant.

• Build upon your minimum of two years of professional experience (minimum of five years as a senior) as you tackle new challenges head-on. Your past experiences will provide a solid foundation for success in this role.

• Showcase your in-depth knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN), along with their concepts, services, and protocols. Your ability to create technical concepts and analyze and automate network traffic/communication protocols will set you apart.

• Familiarity with enterprise networks and a strong grasp of security best practices, hardening measures, and the implementation and operation of complex network and OT security solutions will be highly valued.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and auditing virtualized environments will further strengthen your profile.

• Ideally, you have worked with components from renowned manufacturers such as Fortinet, Paloalto Networks, Cisco, and Nozomi Networks, giving you an edge in understanding diverse technological landscapes.

• Fluent language skills in both German and English will enable effective communication and collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.

• A willingness to travel will provide opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with our partners and clients.
