The Role: Contributing to World-Class Infrastructure

As a Civil Engineer specializing in hydraulic structures, you'll be responsible for a range of exciting tasks, including:

  • Utilizing your engineering expertise to calculate concrete structures with precision.
  • Contributing to the design and dimensioning of civil works in the hydraulic and dam sectors.
  • Providing close oversight of project and execution plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Developing compelling tender and submission dossiers to secure new projects.
  • Monitoring and overseeing construction sites, guaranteeing quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Playing an active role in preparing and participating in tenders for engineering services, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications & Experience: Building a Strong Foundation

To excel in this role, you'll ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (EPF or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of hydraulics and dams (highly advantageous)
  • Familiarity with technical standards and design tools specific to hydraulic structures and dams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • A willingness to travel for short missions abroad, including site visits and meetings, with potential for longer assignments.
  • Fluency in English; French, German, or Italian a valuable asset.
