Are you an experienced Computer Vision Engineer with a passion for innovation and real-world applications? Our client, a leading software company in Munich, is looking for a highly skilled computer vision expert to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology, leveraging your expertise in Python, C++, and computer vision frameworks like OpenCV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms using Python and C++
- Work with frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop advanced solutions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research into scalable, real-world products
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize models for real-time applications
- Stay current on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and computer vision
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and product development
Key Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field
- At least 2+ years of experience in a research institution or university, with additional commercial experience
- Expertise in Python and C++ for computer vision applications
- Strong proficiency with frameworks such as OpenCV; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
- Fluency in German at C1 level or higher is mandatory
- Must be based in Germany and available to work on-site in Munich
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
