Salary: $60,000 - $95,000 (Depending on experience)

Job Description

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment such as: medical air systems, vacuum systems, lab systems.

Requirements

Troubleshooting, providing field service support, preventative maintenance and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves working on-site at various healthcare facilities in the state of Ohio/Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on medical gas and air compressor systems according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with medical gas systems and air compressors, identifying potential causes and performing necessary repairs.
  • Test and document the operating parameters of equipment before and after maintenance or repairs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Install new medical gas systems and air compressors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare facility staff to minimize disruption and ensure the safe and efficient operation of medical gas systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to healthcare facility staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical gas systems and air compressors.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to medical gas systems and air compressors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in servicing and maintaining air compressors, preferably within the medical gas industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of medical gas systems, including installation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with basic industrial electrical systems, including AC motors, motor controls, and machine control circuits.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electronic Work Order systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and work flexible hours, including oncall shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
