Electronic Development Engineer

My client, Based in Zurich develops applications ranging from automotive and industrial automation to medical technology and consumer electronics.

As an Electronic Development Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our products.
• Ensure that PCB layouts comply with relevant industry standards and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product designers to deliver high-quality PCB designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including schematic diagrams, BOMs, and PCB layout files.
• Work with external PCB manufacturers to ensure that PCBs are manufactured to our specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug PCBs during the development and testing phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB design.
• Proficiency in using EDA tools, such as Altium Designer, for PCB layout and schematic design.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design principles
• Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• B2 German
