Engineering Manager (Java)

I am currently looking for an Engineering Manager with previous experience in Software Development to lead a dynamic team.

One of the leading e-commerce companies I am partnering with offers all its solutions through the Cloud first and a service-oriented architecture.

This company is seeking an Engineering Manager who is capable of coaching and challenging the team to self-improve while motivating and engaging them.

As an Engineering Manager some of your responsibilities include:

• Keep your team on track to deliver quality products to tight deadlines.
• People management encompasses all aspects of coaching your team, managing growth, and negotiating salaries, etc.
• Resolve challenges/blockers that inhibit team performance and ensure the right capacity in terms of team size, skillset and goals.
• Establish a clear mission and purpose for individuals and teams; build and maintain high-performance teams.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with:

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in managing a team.
• Extensive experience with Java, SQL/NoSQL DB, Kafka, CI/CD and TDD concepts.
• A solid understanding of software and product development principles.
• Ability to mentor and coach a team.
• Fluent communication skills in English (any other language is a plus)
