I am recruiting behalf of a Quantum Computing Company which is currently seeking a experienced Mechanical Engineer/Cryogenics Engineer based in New York.

About the role:

- Your responsibilities will include providing general support for the laboratory and conducting preventive maintenance on our advanced testing facility.

- role will involve configuring the test infrastructure in the laboratory, supporting the testing process, and analyzing test results.

- Take charge of troubleshooting and upgrading cryogenic and room-temperature hardware, as necessary.

- Constructing new experimental setups and their components for low and ultralow temperatures.

Experience Required:

- Experience with cryogenic systems.

- Comprehension of electrical, vacuum, and other related systems.

- Practical experience with operating hand tools and equipment.

- Proficient in the assembly of electrical or electronic systems and the installation of wiring and components.

- Knowledge of commonly used testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, waveform generators, and others.

- Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.

Desired Requirements:

- Possess experience in working with superconducting circuits and measuring qubits.

- Understanding of microwave engineering.
