Test Automation Engineer - Bern - Contract

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in Bern where we are looking to hire a temporary Test Automation Engineer to start as soon as possible.

Conditions:

• Start date: June 2023
• Hourly Rate: Approx CHF 80-100
• Duration: 9 months + extensions
• Location: Bern and Home Office in CH

Activities:

• Evaluation of technologies and frameworks based on the requirements and framework conditions, including practical proof-of-concept of the preferred solution variants
• Implementation of the selected solution variant (automation of test execution, test reports, error handling, notification, etc)
• Operationalisation of the test operation (creating work instructions, development and maintenance of the tests, operation of the automation, on-boarding of new testers, support of the test management, etc)

Experiences:

• Development of end-to-end test automation in connection with medium-sized to large system landscapes and organisations (insurance, banking, telecoms, etc.)
• Test data management
• Mobile testing
• API testing
• UI testing

Technical requirements:

• Ideally background with Java programming language
• Test frameworks - Cypress, Citrus, Selenium, Appium, GitLab & GitLab-Runners, Kubernetes
