We are seeking an experienced and agile backend developer to join a growing software comapny in Basel.
As a global and innovative software company, we work on exciting and new projects that bring us closer to our vision of being the best software for intelligent lighting solutions.
You will be working with our highly specialized web team, which is distributed across Europe and communicates primarily in English. The team is divided into three areas: Frontend, Backend, and ERP System & Server.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a new software platform alongside colleagues
- Work on software account handling
- Create and maintain interfaces to different systems
- Be responsible for various web services on Linux and provide support
- Work with a lot of personal responsibility
To qualify for the role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A degree in computer science
- Several years of experience as a backend developer
- Excellent programming skills in Python and Framework Django
- Familiarity with other programming languages, such as C/C++
- Experience with databases, including MySQL, SQLite, and Postgres
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Dynamic and intrinsically motivated with the ability to work and communicate in a team.
